To deliver the best of both worlds in terms of Comfort and Stability with every pair of shock absorbers that is the SHOKZ driving experience to drivers. This is achieved by subjecting all of our high-performance shock absorbers to Objective and Subjective evaluation tests.
Shokz was tested by performing Objective evaluation and Subjective evaluation which intended to improve vehicle ride comfort and performance via damper tuning activities. Objective evaluation is targeted to obtain numerical data for subjective evaluation homologation purpose. Various corrective measurement has been done such as chassis torques, tire pressures check, correction of spec tire as well as the vehicle ballast are being secured for stability in order to conduct vehicle damper tuning testing.
Shokz has been tested with hump and bump test. Experiments have been tested out using OEM shock absorber and tuned absorber (Shokz). SHOKZ were well-damped the bumps and humps which had less rebound over speed humps and provided better handling when cornering. Shokz is tuned with dampened bouncy effect over bumps. The lowered motion ratio increases overall ride comfort.
Shokz has been carefully tested with double lane change test, Subjective evaluation to obtain the desired primary and secondary ride via dampers tuning. The test is to evaluate the handling performance of a vehicle and is an integral part of the vehicle design procedures and vehicle assessment. The track is setup to the specifications listed in the ISO.
Enter section 1 at a set speed, 2 meters after entering section 1, the throttle pedal is released and drive through the remaining distance. The entry speed is to be determined by the driver, maximum speed to be capture as comparison.
Straight line braking test is to evaluate actual braking deceleration and vehicle stability. Tests are done to the vehicle for Braking performance (eg: Braking distance, nose dips, etc) to ensure the shock absorber enhancing dynamic weight transfer.
To test out the attributes which consists of:
- Ride balance
- Wheel hop (Shake)
- Road feel
- Head toss
- Bottoming and topping.
